Examples of a Few Past Events:

The Amador Astronomy Society has participated in many events over the years including elementary school science programs, star parties, talks on the wonders of the night sky, demonstrations, dedications, Kids College, and more.

Below are some examples of events where the AAS presented interesting and exciting information about astronomy and space exploration. Attendees learned what to look for in the night sky and how to view comets, stars, planets, galaxies and more using telescopes, binoculars and even the naked eye! Audience questions answered include information about what to look for when purchasing a telescope, best places to see the sky at night and much more.
